Oxfordshire

Home to over 680,000 residents, Oxfordshire is a ceremonial county that is notable for its links to education and tourism. In recent years (and due to its connections to the University) it has become a popular home to technology companies and start-ups. Most famous of course is the University of Oxford, the oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of the most prestigious for academia.

Despite a smaller than usual population, Oxfordshire enjoys a variety of towns throughout the county including Oxford, Banbury, Bicester, Witney, Didcot, Henley-on-Thames, Wallingford, Abingdon-on-Thames and Carterton.
