Sameer Mohammed
BDS, MFDS, RCS
Implantologist

Sameer qualified in 2002 from Bangalore University, India. He started training in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2003 and gained comprehensive training by working in various maxillofacial trauma centres in the UK.

In 2008 he gained his MFDS, Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and further extended his training in Implantology by completing a 12-month training programme at the Cambridge Academy. Sameer has completed a diploma in Implantology from Cambridge.

Sameer gained advanced training in sinus augmentation and immediate implants from GSD academy in Portugal. He has also gained extensive training on an “All on 4”, where a whole arch of failing teeth is replaced with dental implants in a single visit, at Malligai Dental Hospital in India.

Sameer exclusively practices all aspects of implant dentistry, including hard and soft tissue augmentation, sinus grafting, immediate implants, ridge splits and full mouth rehabilitation using the “All on 4” technique. Sameer is a part of the faculty of Malligai Dental Hospital in India and lectures on all aspects of implant dentistry.

In his spare time, Sameer enjoys most forms of sports, particularly cricket and badminton.

Maria Kefaladelis

Bachelor of Dental Science (1993)

Maria graduated in 1993 from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She stayed in Johannesburg and worked as a locum. Then towards the latter half of 1994 she started her own practice as a sole practitioner.

In 2016, Maria and her family relocated to the United Kingdom where she started working for Colosseum Dental at Arnot Hill Dental Clinic.

Maria specialises in aesthetic dentistry, implant supported restorative work and bespoke dental treatments for cancer patients, with particular attention to allergy testing for heavy metal toxicities.

Outside of dentistry, Maria loves spending time with her family.

Gabriel Petraru

Gabriel graduated from dentistry in Romania in 2003.

Gabriel then spent a year working in the Maxillofacial Unit providing a comprehensive range of services to correct problems with the face, mouth, teeth and jaws, before opening his own practice in Romania.
Gabriel relocated to the UK in 2009. Gabriel has a special interest in Clear Correct and restorative surgery.

He has an extremely kind gentle and encouraging manner to ensure his patient are as relaxed as possible.

Away from dentistry Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, going on long walks and traveling. He also has a keen interest in fast cars.
Gabriel speaks English, Romania, French and German.

Annette McCool

Dental Hygiene with Honours, Canada 2009

Annette graduated in Canada in 2009 and moved back to the UK in 2010. Annette joined the Arnot Hill team in 2019.

Annette is extremely passionate about dentistry and providing excellent clinical care to her patients. She is committed to compassionate care and excels at alleviating the anxieties of patients with extreme dental phobias with her calm and reassuring presence. Annette’s background includes extensive experience in oral hygiene treatment including, preventative and patient education and also caring for patients with severe periodontal disease.

Outside of dentistry, Annette loves to travel, she has lived and visited many countries and now has dual citizenship with Canada. Annette is an avid reader and usually reads two books a week. She also enjoys puzzles and games.
