Syed Basit Hussain is a dedicated Dental Hygienist with over five years of experience in dental hygiene and periodontal healthcare.

He completed his PhD in Medicine and Dental Sciences at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, graduating in 2024, with a specialist focus on gum disease and periodontal health. His areas of expertise include preventative dental care, patient education and periodontal therapy.

Syed is experienced in providing thorough dental hygiene treatments, including root surface debridement, fluoride applications and fissure sealants. He takes a patient-centred approach, ensuring patients understand how to maintain good oral health and prevent future dental problems.

He is passionate about helping patients improve their gum health through personalised treatment and practical oral hygiene advice.

Outside of dentistry, Syed is committed to keeping his knowledge and clinical skills up to date with the latest developments in dental and periodontal care.

Dr Faizan Iqbal is a skilled Oral Surgeon and Implantologist with a strong commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care.

A graduate of Plymouth University, Faizan has undertaken advanced training in Periodontology, Restorative Dentistry and Implant Dentistry, and is currently completing an MSc in Implantology.

He has a particular interest in minimally invasive treatments and takes the time to listen to each patient, ensuring their treatment is carefully tailored to their individual needs.

Known for his gentle and approachable manner, Faizan works hard to ensure patients feel at-ease and informed throughout their treatment journey.

He is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles and takes pride in delivering high standards of care. He believes that clear communication and a collaborative approach are essential to creating a positive dental experience for every patient.

Outside of the clinic, Faizan enjoys travelling, particularly exploring wildlife and nature, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Emma joined the practice in 2017 and brings over 23 years of experience in dental hygiene and periodontal care.

Emma has extensive expertise in the prevention and treatment of gum disease, periodontal therapy, root surface debridement and oral health education. As a qualified nutritionist, she takes a holistic approach to patient care, recognising the important connection between oral and general health.

Known for her gentle and compassionate manner, Emma is particularly skilled at helping nervous patients feel comfortable and confidant throughout their treatment. She is committed to delivering high quality, patient-centred care, and helping patients achieve long-term oral health.
