Balaji qualified from the University of Mumbai, India, in 1996. He later moved to the UK and passed the statutory examinations. After working in Cornwall for 5 years, he moved to London to gain additional qualifications and skills in implant dentistry. He enrolled in the Diploma in Implant Dentistry course at the Royal College of Surgeons, which is considered as the gold standard in implant education in this country.

He was successful in the examinations and was awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry. He was also awarded an Advanced Certificate that reflects his skills in bone grafts and sinus augmentation. He has placed and restored hundreds of dental implants ranging from simple to complex cases. His passion to offer the best treatment to his patients takes him across the world attending courses keeping him abreast of all the latest developments in the field of implant dentistry. Balaji now offers ‘All on 4’, which is a full upper or lower set of teeth that will be anchored by 4 dental implants. He can also provide ‘teeth in a day’ which is a dental implant done in one day instead of over a series of appointments.

Balaji offers implant treatments at many of our Colosseum Dental practices. These practices are equipped with the state of the art CBCT machines enabling the better treatment options for his patients.

Balaji regularly accepts referrals from other implant surgeons for bone grafts and sinus augmentations. He is now training to offer extra-maxillary implants which would enable him to offer implant solutions for patients who have no bone in the upper jaw.

He is happy to share his knowledge through lectures and also mentors colleagues who are developing their skills in implant dentistry. He is a member of the British Dental Association and the Association of Dental Implantology. Away from dentistry, Balaji loves spending time with his family, eating out and watching cricket, cheering the Men in Blue.

Shivani comes from a family of dentists and is proud to continue the family tradition of providing patient-centred dental care. She graduated from Kuyempu University, India, in 1991.

Following graduation Shivani moved to the U.S and continued her education by completing the National Dental Boards and worked in a community dental clinic in Ohio.

After moving back to the UK, Shivani completed her UK dental training requirements, as well as completing an MSc in Dental Public Health at Queen Mary’s London.

Shivani has gained certificates in Invisalign, Rotary Endodontics, Aethetics in Dentistry and Facial Aesthetics - expanding her treatment offerings for her patients. 

Outside of dentistry, Shivani’s interests include cooking, travelling and painting.

Purvi studied at the Rajiv Gandhi University and qualified in 2003. After this, she went  on to work in Texas and New York, before moving to the UK in 2007. 

She then went on to work in the Falkland Islands from 2010 to 2016 as a Senior Dental Officer. At the end of 2016, Purvi returned to the UK where she worked at practices in Staplehurst and Gravesend, until she joined Colosseum Dental in January 2024.

Purvi is trained in oral surgery, periodontic, prosthodontics and restorative dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and working with children with special needs. Purvi is looking to train in aligners and further her skills in cosmetic dentistry. 

Outside of the practice, Purvi enjoys travelling, reading and cooking.

Pujaa qualified from the University of Manchester in 2014 and has a decade worth of experience. Her passion to become a dentist with special interest in endodontics has led her to study further and she has gone on to complete a Master's degree in Endodontics at Queen Mary University of London.

Pujaa combines advanced techniques and a patient-centered approach to ensure that her root canal procedures are carried out safely and effectively. She is keen to stay at the forefront of the field and regularly participates in continuing education and is an active member of the British Endodontic Society.

Pujaa prides herself on her drive for perfection and is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of the practice, Pujaa enjoys walking and travelling.

Usman grew up in Pakistan and earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in 2021, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical dentistry and preventive care.

In 2023, he relocated to London to advance his professional journey and has since been practicing as a 
registered Dental Hygienist. Usman is deeply passionate about delivering high-quality dental care with a strong focus on prevention and patient education.

His ability to make a positive impact on his patients’ health and confidence through compassionate care and clear communication is very rewarding. Working in a multicultural environment has allowed him to connect with patients from all walks of life, building strong, trusting relationships. 

Outside of work, Usman enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, which has broadened his perspective and made me more adaptable and empathetic in clinical settings. These experiences has helped him create a welcoming and comfortable environment for his patients.

Vismante graduated from Kaunas College, the Study Centre of Medicine and Social Sciences, Lithuania in 2006 and has completed further training at Savonia Polytechnic, Kuopio in Finland.

Vismante has extensive experience in maintaining patients oral health. She is fully qualified and can offer a range of injectable facial rejuvenation and contouring treatments at the practice.

Outside of her professional life, Vismante enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Her biggest hobbies are traveling and exploring different cultures.

Aniruddho Karak qualified from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2020 with first class honours in BDS. He was later appointed as a resident general dentist in a multi-speciality hospital in New Delhi, India. Since then, Aniruddho has practiced in multiple clinics and has conducted oral health education awareness campaigns in the Himalayas at remote places with a few NGOs.

Aniruddho now works as a dental hygienist and has gained experience in multiple clinics within Colosseum Dental. He has completed health management from Imperial College London and was awarded with the Dean’s Community Award for Sustainable Health Business.

Aniruddho takes pride in achieving successful and aesthetically pleasing dental treatments for his patients. He is approachable and welcomes new patients into his care.

Away from dentistry, Aniruddho loves running and cycling. He plans to participate in a triathlon at some point of his life. He is also a very good chef.

After graduating from Karolinska Institute in Sweden, in 1996, Mahmood moved to the UK and began working as a dental surgeon in London. In 1998, Mahmood took over ownership at Kidbrooke Dental Surgery, where he worked up until 2024, before joining Colosseum Dental in 2025.

Outside of the practice, Mahmood is very family oriented, and enjoys travelling and reading.
