Dr Vangelis is a caring and friendly General Dental Practitioner who graduated from King’s College London. He completed his Foundation Training with the East of England Deanery and has since developed broad experience across NHS and private dentistry.

Vangelis is a certified Invisalign Doctor with a particular interest in improving smiles through teeth straightening and cosmetic composite bonding.

He is also a certified Enlighten Tooth Whitening provider, helping patients achieve their dream smiles.

Vangelis has been awarded the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, reflecting his continued professional development. He is committed to providing personalised, high-quality care and helping patients feel as relaxed as possible throughout their dental journey.

Outside of dentistry, Vangelis is married with two sons and enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as following sport, particularly football.

Dr Assif is a specialist in Prosthodontics, with particular expertise in implant and restorative dentistry at Handside Dental Clinic. He qualified from The Royal London Hospital in 2002 and subsequently gained experience as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery across hospitals in Hertfordshire, including QE2 Hospital, before achieving his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004.

He then undertook specialist training in Prosthodontics at Guy’s Dental Hospital, completing a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry with research focused on tooth wear and the effects of acids within the oral cavity. In 2008, Assif was selected by the International College of Prosthodontics for its mentoring programme, recognising him as one of the leading young prosthodontists internationally.

His clinical interests include aesthetic and implant dentistry, complex full-mouth rehabilitation, failing dentistry, tooth wear, bite problems, and complete or partial dentures.

Throughout his career, Assif has had the opportunity to learn from leading clinicians in the UK and internationally and remains committed to advancing his knowledge and clinical skills.

Alongside his clinical work, he is an examiner for Warwick University and a course tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England, contributing to the education and development of future dental professionals.

Dr Sara graduated from Leeds University in 2001 and began her dental career in Hertfordshire before joining Handside Dental Clinic as an Associate Dentist in 2003. She has completed postgraduate training and obtained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Practitioners, as well as undertaking General Practice Training alongside hospital specialists.

Sara is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly participates in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses to keep her knowledge and skills up to date.

She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and particularly values treating patients of all ages and providing a wide range of treatments tailored to their individual needs. Her clinical interests include restorative dentistry, paediatric dentistry and root canal treatments.

Sara enjoys working in Welwyn Garden City and is passionate about providing friendly, personalised care within a family-focused dental practice.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys tennis, walking her energetic dog, travelling and cooking, particularly when entertaining friends and family.

Dr Ashil graduated from Cardiff University in 2007 and has since worked as a General Dental Practitioner, providing both NHS and private dental care. He has completed a wide range of postgraduate courses in restorative, endodontic and aesthetic dentistry, continually developing his skills to provide high-quality, modern treatment.

Ashil is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health while ensuring they receive personalised care throughout their treatment journey. He has a particular affinity with children and is known for his calm, caring and reassuring approach, helping patients of all ages feel relaxed and at ease at the dentist.

Ashil takes time to listen to his patients’ concerns and is committed to ensuring they feel informed, supported and satisfied with their care.

He is dedicated to ongoing professional development and continually works to enhance his knowledge and clinical skills.

Outside of dentistry, Ashil enjoys football, cars and travelling, while weekends are often spent with his family.

Dr Hemant graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2007 and Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012, where he was ranked among the top 50 dentists nationally by the London Deanery. In 2015, he completed his postgraduate diploma and gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He continued his professional development through the Department of Health pilot practice scheme, focused on improving patient outcomes and contributing to the future of dental care in the UK.

Hemant has held several positions of responsibility, including acting as the private on-call dentist for the Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire border, supporting patients across more than 50 practices.

His clinical interests cover a broad spectrum of dentistry, including advanced cosmetic and restorative treatments, paediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Hemant is committed to providing high-quality, personalised care while continually developing his knowledge and clinical skills.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning new languages and travelling.
