Balaji qualified from the University of Mumbai, India, in 1996. He moved to the UK and passed the statutory examinations. After working in Cornwall for 5 years, he moved to London to gain additional qualifications and skills in implant dentistry. He enrolled in the Diploma in Implant Dentistry course at the Royal College of Surgeons (England), which is considered as the gold standard in implant education in this country.

He was successful in the examinations and was awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry. He was also awarded an Advanced Certificate that reflects his skills in bone grafts and sinus augmentation. He has placed and restored hundreds of dental implants ranging from simple to complex cases. His passion to offer the best treatment to his patients takes him across the world attending courses keeping him abreast of all the latest developments in the field of implant dentistry. Balaji now offers ‘All on 4’, which is a full upper or lower set of teeth that will be anchored by 4 dental implants. He can also provide ‘teeth in a day’ which is a dental implant done in one day instead of over a series of appointments.

Balaji offers implant treatments at our Midhurst and Crawley practices. These practices are equipped with the state of the art CBCT machines enabling the better treatment options for his patients.

Balaji regularly accepts referrals from other implant surgeons for bone grafts and sinus augmentations. He is now training to offer extra-maxillary implants which would enable him to offer implant solutions for patients who have no bone in the upper jaw.

He is happy to share his knowledge through lectures and also mentors colleagues who are developing their skills in implant dentistry. He is a member of the British Dental Association and the Association of Dental Implantology. Away from dentistry, Balaji loves spending time with his family, eating out and watching cricket, cheering the Men in Blue.

Dr Rod Ingham BDS (Ulond), LDS RCS (England) GDC No. 52193

Dr Ingham qualified at Guy’s Hospital, London University in 1978 and worked in
Merstham and Horsham dental practices. In 1981 Dr Ingham purchased Hollybush
dental practice with his wife, who is also a dentist. He was a practice owner for 23 years
before deciding to sell to a dental company to free up more time for clinical dentistry.

He is particularly experienced in looking after nervous patients and has always
specialised in restorative dentistry and enjoys major re-construction cases. Dr Ingham
is keen to keep up to date with new treatments, dental materials and regularly attends
post graduate courses.

In Dr Ingham’s spare time he enjoys travelling, especially, skiing and scuba diving. He
particularly enjoys spending quality time with his children and grandchildren who now
live in Uganda and Malta.

He also competes with his wife in national ballroom and Latin American dancing events.

Karishma graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2014. In 2015 she moved to Australia for 1 year where she provided a range of private treatments. Karishma returned to the UK in 2016 and started working at the Hollybush Dental Clinic where she provides a mixture of NHS and private dentistry.

In 2018 Karishma completed PgCert in Restorative Dentistry with Tipton Dental Training, she also provides Invisalign Go Treatment.

In 2019 Karishma became an educational supervisor for newly qualified Foundation Dentists.

Karishma will always take the time to be sure that every concern has been discussed and every question answered with her patients. Karishma has a kind, gentle and encouraging manner to ensure all patients are as relaxed as possible.

Outside of dentistry Karishma enjoys travelling and skiing.
