Amrita qualified in BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Portsmouth in 2013. Previously, her interest in science was enhanced by obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from Royal Holloway University of London. This enriched her knowledge of life sciences and established a foundation for entering a career in dental hygiene and therapy, thus combining her interest in science and passion for providing care for others.

One of her personal highlights in her career so far has been the development of an opinion article on denture identification marking published in the BDJ June 2014. Additionally, during her Foundation Training as a Dental Therapist, her role involved oral health promotion and disease prevention, restoration of permanent teeth and paediatric treatment. 

Amrita enjoys providing high quality oral care and promoting the importance of good oral hygiene, whilst ensuring patients feel comfortable. She continues to keep up to date with dentistry to enhance her knowledge and professional development.

Since qualifying Juliet has worked in general practice and the Community Dental Service where she has gained experience in all aspects of dentistry.

Juliet has a particular interest in Children’s dentistry and completed the Certificate of Paediatric Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in 2012 to further her studies in this area.

She regularly attends courses to ensure that she is providing the highest quality treatment to her patients and up to date advances.

Juliet has a natural ability at making children feel at ease in the dental chair and being able to provide pain-free treatment is her goal.

When not working, Juliet plays the piano, enjoys tennis and has a busy family to look after.

Dr Ahmed Mahammed qualified from The University of Birmingham in 2004. He has worked in both general practice and hospital.

Ahmed joined the team at Kenton Dental Centre in April 2011. That same year he carried out a RCSE diploma in implants, followed by an ITI course in 2012. He furthered his knowledge and training by undertaking a sinus augmentation course in 2014. He is now working toward completing his master’s degree in Implantology at The University of Bristol. He is highly committed to keeping up with the very latest techniques and procedures and attends several additional training course a year to ensure the highest standards of patient care are met.

His special interests are Oral Surgery, Implantology, minimally invasive dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, and Invisalign. Ahmed has placed hundreds of dental implants, ranging from simple to more complex cases. He is SAAD qualified and is highly experienced in managing anxious patients using various techniques to make the dental treatment a pleasant and more comfortable experience in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This includes Intravenous Sedation (IV) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He is a dental phobia certified dentist.

He also has a keen interest in complex dental rehabilitation cases to restore teeth to an aesthetically and functionally stable state.

He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in the dental field and has been a Foundation Dental Trainer for several years, dedicated to teaching newly qualified dental graduates in gaining high standards.

Ahmed is part of the Teeth Relief (Sunnymead) charity and A World Without Barriers orphanage charity, dedicating time to providing education and treatment to the developing country.

He is a member of the British Dental Association, the Faculty of General Dental Practice and the Association of Dental Implantology. Away from dentistry, He is a keen endurance cyclist, cycling through many countries for charity. He is also a keen photographer and enjoys photographing various cultures around the world.

Azim qualified as a dentist from the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2001. Working in general practice for nearly 20 years, he has gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience enabling him to provide his patients with an uncompromised, excellent level of care. With a strong belief in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry, he places great emphasis on patient care and comfort, and his friendly and relaxed approach makes patients feel at ease.

He has been working at Kenton Dental Centre since 2014.

With the ever-evolving nature of dentistry, he understands the need to keep up to date with the latest techniques and treatments, continued training and education enable him to enhance his skills and deliver this to his patients. He has attended many courses covering different aspects of dentistry such as endodontics (root canal treatment), teeth whitening, cosmetic & aesthetic dentistry and Invisalign. Azim has also been taught at the world- renowned Eastman Dental Hospital.

When Azim is not working, he loves travelling and meeting up with friends and family. He’s a bit of a foodie, but balances this with going to the gym! He is a keen sports fan and particularly enjoys football, tennis, and Formula 1 motor racing. Azim also loves his thrill-seeking activities; his recent one being jumping off a plane!

When at home, his two lovely daughters keep him busy!
