Dr. Afzal Khamiran joined in 2019.

After his qualification from University of Aachen (Germany) where he was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from well-known laser and implant specialists he started as an associate in private practices in Germany for two years. He quickly developed a particular passion for surgical dentistry, prompting him to pursue and advance these skills working alongside experienced surgeons . During this time, he started his involvement in implant dentistry. 

After relocating to the UK, he joined the team at Northgate Dental Care in 2006 where he is now the longest serving senior associate. He has also worked in various dental practices in West Sussex. Afzal has participated in dental conferences and courses nationally and internationally in order to incorporate the newest technologies and leading advances in dentistry into his day to day treatment planning. 

Afzal understands that for patients to feel relaxed and empowered about their treatment, they need to be kept informed and involved at all stages. He has made a life-long commitment to learning and has completed a huge amount of postgraduate education including a master class in MIMI® (minimally invasive method of implantation) in Germany and a year-long certification course in Implant Dentistry with ITI (International Team of Implantology). 

He has a special interest in Orthodontics, Surgical and Implant Dentistry and has placed and restored implants for more than a decade. He is a member of the International team for Implantology. 

In his spare time, Afzal enjoys spending time with his family and friends and enjoys keeping fit through a variety of sports.

Dr Ewa graduated from the Medical University of Lublin, in Poland, in 2005 with a Diploma of Completion of a Uniform of Master's Programme of Higher Education in Medicine, in the field of Dentistry. In 2006, she was awarded with a State-Recognised Certificate from the Examination Centre for Medical and Dental Practitioners in Lodz, holding a licence to practice as a member of the Regional Chamber of Medical and Dental Practitioners.

Ewa has a special interest in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry and has achieved diplomas from some of the world’s leading specialists in this field. Her interests further extend into Prosthodontics – a branch of dentistry that offers a variety of solutions to patients who have lost their teeth and want to regain their self-confidence.

Over the years in practice, Ewa has worked with certified dental laboratories, mastering the skills of treatment planning, particularly in complex cases. Ewa believes in the holistic approach to every patient and always puts in her best effort into achieving a successful treatment.

Outside of the surgery, Ewa is a keen gardener and enjoys cooking and discovering different cuisines.

Dr Marlette completed her degree in BChD at The University of Pretoria, in 2001. In 2006, Marlette completed the International Qualifying Exam in the UK, before moving from South Africa to the UK the following year. Since then, she has been practing as an Assiociate Dentist. 

Working alongside dental nurses, Marlette strives to give the best care possible to every patient, helping them feel relaxed and listened to.

Outside of the practice, Marlette enjoys HIIT training, running, mountain biking and meditation.
